Resource Consultant support can be provided in preschool environments, community locations, licensed childcare, Before and After school programs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-16d6181 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"16d6181\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a9e843e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a9e843e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Assisting families in developing an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) based on the child\u2019s and the family\u2019s needs<\/li>\n<li>Provide consultation support to childcare centres and nursery schools<\/li>\n<li>Designing and implementing individual programs based on the IFSP<\/li>\n<li>Accessing and coordinating appropriate services<\/li>\n<li>Promoting a positive image of CLH Developmental Support Services within the community<\/li>\n<li>The Resource Consultants will work as a member of the family\u2019s transdisciplinary team, carry out specific administrative duties and attend case conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c2a5ee9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c2a5ee9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">To be considered as a candidate, the successful applicant must have the following minimum qualifications and experience:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f24c60 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3f24c60\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Early Childhood Education Diploma required. A member in good standing with the College of ECE. Resource Consultant Post Graduate Diploma required or a commitment to complete it within a specified timeframe<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with families and children with special needs and a sound knowledge of child development is essential, as well as a firm knowledge of parenting issues. A minimum of 2 years experience working with children (0-6) with special needs<\/li>\n<li>A current, valid \u201cG\u201d driver\u2019s license and access to a car to be used in the course of employment<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work flexible hours<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in both written and verbal skills in a second language is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of and respect for First Nation, M\u00e9tis and Inuit Early Learning environments is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>CLH will require as a condition of hiring any new to provide proof of full vaccination for Covid-19 (subject to human rights-related accommodation where appropriate) as a term of the offer. A conditionally hired employee will have one week from the date of the offer to produce satisfactory proof of vaccination, failing which the offer will be withdrawn and the employee will not be hired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hourly compensation of $25.99 with ECE Diploma.
