In collaboration with the child\u2019s caregiver(s), this multidisciplinary team will identify goals for individualized programming that target skill-building within six developmental domains. (<em><strong>Positions will be available in Midland, Barrie, and Alliston<\/strong><\/em>)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a7d710 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1a7d710\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eea9923 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"eea9923\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Working as a member of a multidisciplinary, collaborative team to plan implement and facilitate a dynamic group-based program for children with ASD<\/li>\n<li>Set-up of the group-based learning environment and program and completion of daily tasks including activity set up, disinfection, snack time<\/li>\n<li>Working in conjunction with a Behavior Consultant to implement an individualized intervention program<\/li>\n<li>Completion of data collection forms and documentation of child inquiries and interests as needed<\/li>\n<li>Support the planning and consultation with the School as needed, as part of the child\u2019s transition to school<\/li>\n<li>Completion of developmental screening tools and assessments as needed<\/li>\n<li>As a member of the York Simcoe Autism Network (YSAN), participate in network training as requested<\/li>\n<li>Work locations may vary across Simcoe County and staff may be required to work in multiple locations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d1383e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3d1383e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">To be considered as a candidate, the successful applicant must have the following minimum qualifications and experience:<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b216fa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8b216fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Early Childhood Education Diploma required. A member in good standing with the College of ECE.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with families and children with ASD Diagnosis and a sound knowledge of child development<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 2 years experience working with children (0-6) with developmental support needs in an early learning environment (ex: Kindergarten Classroom, Licensed Childcare Setting, EarlyON Setting, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with standardized screening tools, assessment measures, and\/or inventories of development<\/li>\n<li>Experience planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programming while including modifications as needed (ex: communication tools, equipment, sensory-based learning opportunities)<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of How Does Learning Happen and experiencing in an inquiry-based learning environment<\/li>\n<li>Additional certification, training, or experience working with children with an Autism diagnosis would be an asset<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated excellence in communication (both oral and written), listening, and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in a respectful manner with children, caregivers, collaborative partners, and the general public<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to deal with difficult situations in the moment and take necessary action in stressful or emergency situations<\/li>\n<li>Proven understanding of, and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times<\/li>\n<li>Comfort with technology and an ability to quickly learn new platforms and programs<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in both written and verbal French Language skills is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>A strong knowledge of and respect for Indigenous, traditions and practices is considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>A current, valid \u201cG\u201d driver\u2019s license and access to a car to be used in the course of employment<\/li>\n<li>CLH will require as a condition of hiring any new to provide proof of full vaccination for Covid-19 (subject to human rights-related accommodation where appropriate) as a term of the offer.
