2018-2019 CLH DEVELOPMENTAL
SUPPORT SERVICES ANNUAL AWARDS
THE TOM KAYSER CLH FOUNDATION
VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISER AWARD
This award is given to an individual supported by CLH who gives
their efforts to raise funds for CLH Foundation, which includes
volunteering at CLH Foundation events. We are pleased to
announce that Bonnie Porter was the deserving recipient of this
award for all her contributions to CLH Foundation events!
DIRECT SUPPORT WORKER AWARD
The Direct Support Worker Award is awarded to a CLH staff
person who has “gone the extra mile” in the provision of services
to people with developmental support needs. This year’s
deserving recipient is David Coutts.
“David exemplifies “going the extra mile for all the people he supports”. David is exceptional at
picking up shifts to attend community/out of town activities. David initiates and participates in
activities, which enriches the quality of life for the people he supports. The people he supports
request that David be the staff to take part in the outing with them; his fun, outgoing quirky way
of engaging makes every outing special; only David could make a trip to the transfer station an
enjoyable experience. David’s friendly, outgoing personality and his willingness to participate with
the people he supports makes him their number one choice.”
Honorable mention goes to Natalie Levy, Devon Hutchings and Justin LePage
who were nominated for their contributions.
