President’s Report

           Sarah Kitchen

2021/2022 was a year of continued challenges here at CLH Foundation, those in CLH Supported Living Homes, assisted members
but it was also a year of outstanding community support. Like every other living in supported independent living with essential
organization navigating an ongoing pandemic, it was a year of significant household and grocery items, and planned a path forward

change and challenge at CLH Developmental Support Services (CLH DSS) as that allows CLH Foundation to have impact on programs and the
well. That being said, CLH DSS continued to drive forward the organization’s people served by CLH now, and well into the future.
vision and mission to provide the highest quality of service to the people it
serves no matter what – and CLH Foundation was glad to become a partner Last year, you went further in your support of CLH Foundation than ever
in this commitment. Services at CLH DSS rapidly evolved to meet the needs before; and together, this year we’re going even further. There’s more to do
of supported individuals, and you were with us in many generous ways, every as we work to ensure access to every opportunity for quality of life, quality of

step of the way. care, and quality of experience for those in CLH programming.

In this report, you’ll read about that work and the impact of your support. We As I look back, I am continually inspired by the generosity of our donors, the
were truly grateful to have had the support of GBay Gals Give, The Weber creativity and dedication of the CLH staff, and the resilience of the individuals

Foundation, Huronia Community Foundation, legacy gifts, monthly donations, supported by CLH Developmental Support Services. As we look ahead, we
and of course our second virtual gala. While gathering restrictions continued are excited for the year to come, as we strive to maintain the momentum of
to keep us virtual, we did not let that dampen our spirits – and neither did this past year. Thank you to our community members, donors, volunteers,
you. A Red Carpet Evening featuring Jim Cuddy raised more than $80,000 sponsors, and partners – because of you, the mission to support, include and
to support our Commitment to Care initiative, and we could not have done it empower is furthered a little every day.
           without each one of you.

What we’ve managed to accomplish together over the past year is truly
incredible. Despite the unique circumstances, we have strengthened Sarah Kitchen
