Community Networks of Specialized Care (CNSC – CE)
Providing Specialized Clinical Support and Linkages for Persons with a Dual Diagnosis
CLH Developmental Support Services serves as the accountable agency for the Community Networks of Specialized Care – Central East (CNSC – CE). The CNSC – CE provides coordination and linkages for adults with developmental disabilities and high support and complex care needs (HSCCN) in the Province of Ontario and Northern Territories, as well as specialized resources for consultation and treatment.

CNSC - CE’s Mandate
The CNSC – CE’s Mandate is to provide additional resources that will assist to close gaps in the service system by:
- Coordinating support and service by providing complex support coordination for individuals, and acting as a resource to service agencies, Developmental Services Ontario, and local system planning tables (including urgent response and service solution/case resolution).
- Building capacity through education, mentorship, and support to other case managers and service agencies.
- Providing provincial coordination of videoconferencing and French Language specialized resources.
To fulfill this mandate, the CNSC-CE utilizes the following four functions:
1. Complex Support Clinical Coordination
2. Dual Diagnosis Justice Clinical Coordination
3. Health Care Clinical Consultation
4. Service System Resources
