We are Proud to Offer Meaningful Learning Opportunities

CLH Developmental Support Services is proud to offer meaningful learning opportunities for students enrolled in a wide range of programs, particularly within the Developmental Support Services field.

CLH DSS offers a user-friendly virtual onboarding process to assist in providing the student with a comprehensive snapshot of what is CLH Developmental Support Services.

Applicants for student placement opportunities are required to provide a negative criminal reference check including the vulnerable persons screening. 

Adult Services Student Placements

We welcome student placement applications from those who are currently enrolled in the Personal Support Worker, Social Service Worker, and Developmental Services Programs. However, our student placement opportunities are not limited to these programs specifically.

Children Support Services Student Placements

We welcome student placement applications from those currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program (2nd placement), Resource Consultant certificate program, and Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. However, our student placement opportunities are not limited to these programs. Placement opportunities may also be available in our Entry To School OAP program.

Student placements are available in the following Resource Consultant office locations: Alliston, Barrie, Bradford, Collingwood, Midland, and Orillia or in the following OAP Entry to School locations: Midland, Alliston, Barrie. Students require access to a vehicle as placement opportunities would require traveling to locations within Simcoe County.

Other Student Placements

CLH DSS will give consideration to student placements from other fields of study such as Human Resources, IT, Finance, etc. These applications will be reviewed to determine if CLH DSS can provide a useful learning experience for the student. Please send applications for student placements outside of Adult and Children Support Services to the general mailbox.
